I know it's been a while but we are back with a blog tutorial for a super pretty DIY Gift for Mother's Day! Yay!
This tutorial is featuring our Aldo Vandini Hand Care gifts Sets (which BTW are 30% OFFnow until Mother's Day!)
So, if you'd like to learn how to make this easy DIY gift basket for Mom, just keep on reading! ;)
What you'll need:
-A woven basket
-Small plastic bags
-Small cello bags
-1 or 2 Aldo Vandini Hand Care Gift Sets :)
Now that we have everything, let's begin!
Cut your patterned paper into squares about 6 x 6 inches and roll the squares into a cone – tape it in place.
Trim your flowers to fit inside the cone, you can make some stems slightly longer than others.
Once you have the flowers trimmed you can fill a small plastic bag with an inch of water, place your flower stems in the bag and secure above the water line with a rubber band.
If you can find a nail polish set with good colors then fantastic! If like me, you custom picked colors for your mom, this is the time to put the nail polish in a cello bag and tie the top with a pretty string or ribbon :)
Next all you have to do is arrange everything in the basket! Place the paper crinkle at the bottom of the basket (it also helps the products stand up) and arrange the flowers and gift items however you want!
I added 2 flower cones and 2 hand care gift sets, I like the way the hand care products look with one set inside the original packaging and one set just sitting in the basket on their own. These gift sets do come beautifully packaged, so you could totally just use one gift set and a few nail polishes depending on the size of the basket!
